Our Argument Cards are designed to help students learn more about how to communicate their findings on an Argument Board. The example arguments include a combination of strong and weak evidence and justification. The Elementary Argument Cards contain 6 sets of 6 different arguments cards for a total of 48 cards.
Have groups of students sort the cards into strong and weak arguments and then have them explain their reasoning behind categorizing the arguments as strong and weak. This is a great way to help students understand the different components of a strong argument. You will be amazed by how much students' arguments improve after doing this card sort activity.
