In this investigation, students figure out what happens to the weight of a substance when it changes from a solid to a liquid or a liquid to a solid.
The States of Matter and Weight kit includes all the materials that students will need to design and carry out an investigation.
Each kit contains enough materials for six groups of students.
Materials:
- Test Tubes for Lard
- Test Tubes for Wax Pellets
- Test Tubes for Water
- Test Tubes for Chocolate Chips
- Lard
- Glass Beaker
- Test Tube Clamps
- Scale
- Test Tube Rack Holder
- Test Tube Stands
- Hot Water Bath
*Chocolate Chips and Wax pellets included.
