Heat Shield for Playground Equipment Design Challenge Overview
Students design, construct, and test a solution to the problem of playground equipment getting too hot during the summer.
Who It’s For:
This design challenge, which includes all necessary materials, is designed for elementary students in 3rd to 5th grades. Using the Argument-Driven Inquiry instructional model, students will explore weather-related hazards, cause and effect, and represent and interpret data.
