In this math investigation, students construct two linear functions to figure out if adding more turns to the coiled wire of two-battery electromagnet results in any difference in strength when compared with a one-battery electromagnet.

The Predicting Electromagnet Strength kit includes all the materials that students will need to design and carry out an investigation.

Each kit contains enough materials for eight groups of students.
