Family STEM Night in a Box turns any cafeteria, gym, or library into five ready-to-run STEM stations where kids and grown-ups build, test, and solve problems side by side. Families move at their own pace and visit stations in any order, so there's no presentation or rotation schedule to manage. Each station comes in its own color-coded bin with its materials, a station sign, a family activity card, and a facilitator card, so any teacher, staff member, or PTA volunteer can run it.

Serves up to 150 families.

Stations Included

• Make your name shine bright! Families design a name tag and build a simple circuit that lights it up, then take it home.
• String Theory: Move A Cup Without Your Hands. Teams tie strings to a rubber band and work together to stack a cup tower.
• Weight-Lifting for Paper Planes. Families build a paper airplane, add cargo, test how far it flies, and redesign.
• Magic Marker Challenge. Everyone steers one marker with strings to draw a shape or hit a target.
• Tower power! Families build a freestanding tower, then make it taller and steadier.
